1950s Remake

It is so rewarding when you can see from where you began and to where you have successfully arrived!
The homeowners great style and taste allowed me along with the General Contractor, JNA Construction, to really “do this job right!” You can see the major problems with this kitchen in the “before” shots.
The corner wall cabinet is revealing its backside to the living room. Awkward! Must have been a builder special. This was here before our clients moved into the home.
What you can’t see in the “before” photos is the lack of sufficient storage, a work station, off-loading space for the cooktop and oven, and a proper way to move around the work stations.
Among many requests the homeowners really wanted to include a dog feeding station as well as incorporate “open shelving.”
Black and white was our cabinetry palate allowing for a soft accent of color on the walls and ever so slightly in the back splash.
Did you notice we even moved the door to the garage to the opposite side of the room? This was part of the key to a successful, fully-functioning kitchen.
